 The
Delaware Choral Society enthusiastically welcomes
all interested singers to join. We
welcome singers of all ages - our group encompasses
both high school students and retirees, and we
draw members from both Delaware and Maryland.
Auditions are required only for solo parts, not for
membership. Membership dues are $20.00 per

rehearsals
Rehearsals are held Tuesday evenings
from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Presbyterian
Church of Dover on State and Reed Streets.
Enter the church by the double doors at the end of
the covered walkway, and proceed left to enter the
sanctuary. See our calendar
for specific start dates for
rehearsals. Each concert requires 12-14
weeks of preparation.
Music
Music is distributed at rehearsals. Members
are asked to mark
music with pencils only and return it after the last
concert performance. IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT ALL MUSIC BE RETURNED
PROMPTLY!! Members are asked to
provide their own black folders. Members may
purchase music if desired.
Concert
Dress
Concert dress
for men and women is as follows:
Women: black dress and jacket.
Dresses are to be four inches off the floor, with black comfortable
shoes and black pantyhose.
Men: tuxedo coat and pants with laydown white tuxedo shirt,
bowtie, no cummerbund, black socks and shoes.
All concert dress items can be purchased through
Delaware Choral Society.
