Realms of Glory – Dec 2019

This fall, our holiday concert will feature Mendelssohn’s Christus; Christmas Day by Gustav Holst; and other festive works. DCS is excited to share this concert on December 15, 2019 at the Dover High School. We will again work under the direction of Dr. James Wilson and be joined by the Delaware Youth Chorale, directed by Heather Swartzentruber. We will be joined by a small orchestra of musicians from central Delaware with Amos Fayette as our concertmaster.

In spring 2020, we will present Elijah by Felix Mendelssohn.  For this oratorio, DCS and DYC will be joined on stage by a full orchestra under the direction of Dr. James Wilson and with concertmaster, Eliezer Gutman.  Our orchestra will include professionals from the Delaware Symphony and Newark Symphony orchestras and other regional musicians.
